DAY-1 (14-05-2018) REPORT

The day commenced
with the registration of the participants. The course was formally inaugurated
by the worthy Deputy Commissioner Smt. Santosh Mirdha
.A melodious welcome song was presented by the students of K.V.NO-2 Delhi Cantt-10.
The course director Mrs Bharthi Kukkal
welcomed the chief guest .The chief guest Mrs Santosh
Mirdha blessed the participants with the word of
wisdom .In her speech she stressed on the importance of Primary Teachers as
they are the foundation for the younger children.
She had also
discussed about importance of life skills. The life skill like moral values education
etc to be inculcated at early age.Once
it is imparted at primary level the child carries it through
out his life. After inaugural function there was an introduction session
with all the participants by our resource person .Our resource person Mrs Kavita Parashar
asked all the participants to introduce by adding adjective with his/her name.
During lunch time a motivational
video by Shiv Khera was shown.
Immediately after lunch our resource
person Mrs Kavita Parashar asked to form the group. Mrs
Vimla Sharawat distributed
different cards to each participant. On the basis of cards 6 groups were formed
.They were marvelous groups as;
The Miracle Worker , Shooting Stars, Genius At Work, Fast
And Curious, Wizard At Work, Power And Glory After group formation our resource person Mr Nand Kishore Bhalodiya asked all the groups to nominate their
group leader and come forward with their
respective group.
Our resource person Mrs Vimla Sherawat
distributed group work to all the groups and also planned the activity task to
be undertaken by each group immediately. After this our resource person Mrs Kavita Parashar
distributed file to each group and explained thoroughly to
each group leader about their work and time frame was given for each activity.
She also distributed cards written with collective noun to all the participants
for next day attendance.
The course director in her address briefly run through the
activities to be undertaken in next 12 days and explain the aim and objectives
of the In-service Course.
Mrs
Bharthi Kukkal also articulated
the importance of the in-service course to enhance the capability of teachers
and to make their teaching more interesting and purposeful.
At the end there was
intense discussion for various topic and also spontaneous exchange of views
ideas and skill with participants. More stressed were given on time
management and punctuality. To conclude, the first day can be described as an
interesting and successful day.
